FROM HIVE TO JAR

How our honey is made

Handled by us from the capped frame through to the finished jar.

Ready in the hive

We harvest when the bees have perfected the water content and sealed the cells. The wax cappings are removed by hand ready for extraction.

Spun from the comb

The uncapped frames are spun in our extractor, releasing the honey while leaving the comb structure intact.

Filtered & jarred

The fresh honey is passed through a fine strainer to remove small pieces of wax, allowed to settle, then jarred in small batches.
